Alaska Halibut Cheeks 

with Pomegranate Salsa

Halibut cheeks are topped with a sweet and spicy pomegranate salsa and a creamy cilantro yogurt sauce. This 30-minute meal is an easy and elevated special occasion dinner!

You will need


Halibut cheeks, pomegranate arils, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, fresh fennel, cilantro and chili lime seasoning.                             

Make the salsa


In a bowl, mix together the pomegranate, onion, fennel, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice and salt.

Pan fry the halibut


Season the halibut cheeks with chili lime seasoning. Pan fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side.

Top the halibut


Make the cilantro-yogurt sauce. Plate the halibut cheeks and top them with the pomegranate salsa.



Drizzle the cilantro-yogurt sauce on top. Serve and enjoy!
