cut the asparagus
Snap off the woody ends of each asparagus stalk, then cut them into 2-inch pieces.
Heat the oil in a skillet and cook the asparagus for 2-3 minutes with garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Crack the eggs onto the asparagus and season with paprika. Pour in 2 tablespoons of water, then cover the pan with a lid.
Cook the eggs covered for 4-7 minutes or until they are done to your liking.
Serve the asparagus and eggs topped with garnishes of choice, like microgreens, fresh dill or chives.
