Traeger grilled salmon is juicy, flaky and flavorful. It is slow-cooked on a pellet grill which allows the salmon filet to cook evenly, with a wonderfully subtle smoke flavor.
Use wild-caught salmon when possible. Monitor the internal temperature with the grill probe and a meat thermometer. Cook the salmon at a lower temperature.

In a small bowl, combine the butter, shallots, fresh herbs and seasonings. Mix well.

Spread the butter mixture on top of the salmon in a generous, even layer.

Place on grill grates and cook at 275°F for 35-40 minutes.

Shoot for an internal temperature of 130-135°F.
