This air fryer whole chicken recipe will give you  the juiciest, rotisserie-style chicken with a crispy skin!

season the chicken

Pat dry the whole chicken with paper towels, then rub it with avocado oil. Combine all of your seasonings in a small dish, then liberally season the top (breast side)  of the chicken.

Place the whole chicken in the air fryer, breast side down. Season the other side with the remaining rub. Air fry the whole chicken for 20 minutes at 360°F. Flip, and air fry another 40 minutes.

Make sure to dry the chicken very well before seasoning it and placing it into the air fryer. This helps produce an extra crispy chicken skin! Cook until the internal temperature is 165°F and the chicken is golden brown.

When the chicken is done, let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Slice and serve!
