Make your own chicken bone broth with leftover chicken bones and vegetable scraps. It's hearty, healthy, and so simple to make!
combine ingredients
Place chicken bones, onion and celery in a large stock pot or Dutch oven.
add liquid
Add the herbs, seasonings, apple cider vinegar and filtered water to the pot.
bring to boil
Heat the mixture over high heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer.
simmer
Cover the pot with the lid and let it simmer on low for 12-14 hours. When done, strain out the bones and veggie scraps.
pour
Use the homemade chicken bone broth immediately or pour it into storage containers or jars. Refrigerate until time to use.
